Information We DO Collect
1. Subscription Data
When you purchase a subscription:
- Apple provides us with an encrypted receipt
- We verify this receipt with Apple's servers to confirm subscription status
- We do not store receipt data; verification happens in real-time
- Your Apple ID and payment information remain with Apple, not us
2. App Preferences
Settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage:
- Filter preferences (screenshots, selfies, etc.)
- Subscription status (cached locally for faster access)
- App settings and preferences
How We Use Your Information
The limited information we process is used solely for:
- Subscription Verification: Confirming your subscription status with Apple
- App Functionality: Providing the core features you expect
- Premium Features: Unlocking features based on subscription status
Data Processing
Photo Analysis
All photo analysis happens entirely on your device using iOS's native APIs:
- Photos are accessed through iOS's Photo Library framework
- Filtering and sorting occur in device memory
- No photos are copied, moved, or transmitted anywhere
- The app only has the permissions you explicitly grant in iOS Settings
Receipt Verification
When verifying subscriptions:
- Your device sends an encrypted receipt to our server
- Our server forwards it to Apple's verification service
- Apple confirms subscription status
- Our server returns the result to your device
- No receipt data is stored; this is a pass-through service
